Graphic designer and custom chalk letterer Dana Tanamachi just finished this mural on a wall in Ace Hotel New York room 1021. She was inspired by vintage playbills from the Victorian era, and included a lyric from her favorite musical, “Thoroughly Modern Millie”. Hats off to you, Dana.

Muhauhauhauhaua!!! This post makes me laugh so hard! Hubby (@trent_mc) will love this!

Check out this awesome advertising. Amazing job Pantene! Amazing! Using salt to represent dandruff (I know, it’s a little gross). Packed in a salt shaker with a women’s head design on the front panel. Very effective!

I am not usually a soccer fan. Well I was, back in David Beckham time, when he  played for Man U. Aaahhh….back in those days, posters on wall, late night soccer matches on TV…

Have you seen the latest Tourism Australia’s TVC on TV? What do you think if this new “There’s nothing like Australia” campaign? My honest opinion?

I LOVE IT!!!

If you haven’t seen the TVC, here it is…

So, what do you think?

To be honest, when I first saw it, my thought was - the jingle is horrible! I know what are they trying to achieve, like everyone is singing proudly about how great Australia is, but they could have at least try to make them sing and sound about the same pitch/tone/whatever you call it! They are actors & actresses, they suppose to be good at that.

Other than that, the more I see this ad, the more I’m in love with it! I think it has grown on me.

I ♥ it because it is a very honest TVC. Showing all the beautiful things of Australia - The beaches, the sea, the platypus, the BBQ, the great barrier reef, people rowing on Yarra river, Sydney Oprah House, Kangaroos…etc. Watching this ad makes me feel happy, makes me feel proud to be an Australian. Makes me feel lucky to be living in such a beautiful country.

What I also ♥ about this whole campaign is that Tourism Australia also launched a competition to support this campaign. Asking all Australian to send in their photo to share their best Australia holiday moment. I think this is such a great idea, getting people to be involved in this whole launch of the new campaign. You can see the photo gallery here.

The website is so interactive and user friendly. With lots of functions to help you to plan your trip, you could spend hours there exploring and planning your next holiday!

I think I may want to start planning my next holiday soon… :)
